Search and Rescue

TimberDrone received an invitation to participate in a search and rescue exercise with the Clatsop County Sheriff's office and the US Coast Guard. We were given a search area to cover with our drones; after about 30 minutes in the air, our drones had created a high resolution orthophoto that covered our entire search area. A few minutes of analysis, and we had located the victim. 

TimberDrone designed a system to deliver a life vest and strobe light to swimmers in need of rescue.
